Caring for the extremely poor elderly

AMEC adheres to the public welfare and respect for the elderly, and has set up a long-term special program called “Caring for the extremely poor elderly” to actively participate in the development of Shanghai's aging cause as a social force. Our employees provide volunteer services for the elderly and have been awarded the “Shanghai Elderly Care Foundation's 'Outstanding Volunteer Team Award' ” and the “Elderly Lighting up New Hope for the Elderly in Difficulty Volunteer Team Award”.

Care for children's growth

AMEC donated 2 million yuan to establish the ‘AMEC Fund for the Elderly and Children - Renji Hospital Children's Liver Transplant Care Project,’ which aims to provide medical assistance to poor children's families suffering from serious liver diseases. The project funds will be used to subsidise the surgical costs of poor children, support their post-operative rehabilitation, and provide professional medical resources to families of children suffering from such diseases, bringing hope and warmth to poor children's families.
